Sweet pizza with hot and cold fruit
Recipe
You can also use a pizza base to prepare a very tasty dessert. Try to bake a sweet pizza, for example, by covering it with chocolate and fruit. In this recipe, we put both warm (melon, kiwi and orange) and cold (strawberry) fruit on our sweet pizza. Tuck in and enjoy!
INGREDIENTS
For the sweet pizzas
- 20 g watermelon
- 20 g honey melon
- 20 g Galia melon
- 20 g Cantaloupe melon
- 1 kiwi fruit
- ½ orange
- 4 ladyfinger biscuits
- 120 g Nutella
- 4 small dough bases
- 4-6 strawberries
- whipped cream, to taste
- 1 tbsp thyme honey
PREPARATION
- Cut the flesh of the watermelon, honey melon, Galia melon and Cantaloupe melon in small cubes. Peel the kiwi fruit and cut into cubes. Peel the orange, separate the segments and halve these. Break the ladyfingers into pieces.
- Brush the pizza bases generously with the Nutella. This can be awkward, and it is advisable to briefly heat the Nutella, so it spreads more easily. Cover the pizzas with the fruit and pieces of biscuit. Sprinkle the Flat Baking Stone with flour or cornflour before placing the mini-pizzas on it using the Aluminum Pizza Peel. Close the lid of the EGG and bake the pizzas for about 8-10 minutes until done. Keep the temperature at 250-265 °C. In the meantime, quarter the strawberries.
- Carefully remove the pizzas from the Baking Stone and scatter the strawberries over them. A delicious dollop of whipped cream and a drizzle of thyme honey finish off the little pizzas in style!
